All-Hands IFB/ELIXIR-FR 2024

We are pleased to announce the All-Hands IFB/ELIXIR-FR 2024 meeting, the newly named general assembly of the IFB.

This event will take place at the Institut des Systèmes Complexes - amphithéatre TOTEM on 11 place Nationale Nationale in Paris from December 11th to 13th, 2024.

The morning of Wednesday, December 11th, and the afternoon of Friday, December 13th, will be reserved for your travel. The afternoon of Thursday 12, in English, will be attended by the IFB's SAB (Scientific Advisory Board).

SAB sessions on Thursday will be open to all. 

On Friday morning, there will be two parallel sessions:

  • open session: IFB core presentations
  • restricted committee: SAB and IFB management meeting.

 

 

Practical information

The IFB will cover accommodation and transport costs for these 3 categories :

1. IFB-core staff (statutory, fixed-term contract, mission letter)

2. IFB action managers

3. IFB community managers

For these staff, the mission will be covered in its entirety and we will come back to you shortly on this point.

 

The IFB will cover accommodation costs for these categories :

4. One person representing each platform

5. The ELIXIR coordinators

 

The IFB invites to the event but will not cover the accommodation and transport costs for these categories:

6. Other platform staff

7. Other participants

Platforms may be represented by several agents, subject to availability, but accommodation will only be paid for one representative.

 

The IFB will cover the cost of meals for all categories from 1 to 7, including the cocktail reception on 11 December, lunch on 12 December and packed lunch on 13 December (subject to a request on the form).

  

The ISC amphitheatre has a capacity of 130 people, so don't delay in registering! (Registration closes on 18 October). Priority will be given to staff whose accommodation is paid for. If this is not the case, a confirmation of participation will be sent to you by the end of October.
